Jarrow Formulas' MCT Oil is derived from coconut and palm kernel oil and does not contain any articifial flavors, sweeteners or colors. It is also free from wheat, gluten, soybeans, dairy, egg, fish or shellfish. This makes it suitable for people with food allergies or those following specific dietary restrictions.

It has a serving size of 1 tablespoon, which provides 14 grams of medium-chain triglycerides: caprylic acid and capric acid, each contributing to 7.2 grams and 4.8 grams respectively.

Being unflavored, it can be used in a variety of ways such as in salad dressings, sauces, shakes and directly as a supplement. However, it is not recommended for cooking due to its low smoke point.

For maximum benefit, it is advised to start with 1 teaspoon per day and slowly increase to 1 tablespoon per day or as directed by a healthcare professional.
